MeasureCast today reported that Internet radio broadcasters streamed fewer hours of news, talk and entertainment during the November 19-25 week than they did the week before because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The weekly MeasureCast Internet Radio Listening IndexT, which tracks listening to Internet radio stations measured by MeasureCast, dipped 16.5% to an index value of 235, due largely to U.S. employees taking both Thursday and Friday off for the Thanksgiving holiday. However, weekend listening was up 3% over the previous week (Nov. 12-18).
