AT&T Takes Over Websites In New Campaign

AT&T Wireless Services Inc. is "taking over" the home pages of seven major websites in a first-of-its-kind holiday blitz. The brainchild of interactive agency Avenue A and White Horse, a provider of strategic web marketing and web development solutions, the campaign is a five-day rich media advertising bonanza on Ask Jeeves, Weather.com, About.com, CBS Marketwatch, and CNET, ZDNET, and My Simon. Through exclusive home page placement on these sites during the year's peak online shopping time period, AT&T Wireless will deliver millions of impressions in a concentrated five-day period that is considered to be the height of the online shopping season. The ads are the company's first large scale online brand campaign. The creative builds on Forbes magazine's ranking of AT&T Wireless as the number one wireless carrier.
