Advertising industry and creative branding legend Don Tennant passed away at his family's Los Angeles home late Saturday evening. Known for creating brand icons like Tony the Tiger, the Pillsbury
Doughboy, and The Marlboro Man, Tennant spent his career crafting creative strategy for global brands including Kellogg's, Nestle, Green Giant, Pillsbury, Keebler, Campbell's Soup, United Airlines and
Proctor & Gamble. During his 20-year career with international advertising agency Leo Burnett, he served in multiple creative capacities that culminated in his role as worldwide creative director and
chairman of Leo Burnett's creative review committee. In his lifetime, Tennant served in a variety of capacities including marketing and advertising strategist, copywriter, composer, commercial
director, editor, artist and filmmaker.
