NowMarketing, Inc. (formerly Elbit Vflash, Inc.), a developer of permission-based digital marketing solutions, has announced the launch of NowCode, a new service that gives marketers an immediate online response mechanism for offline advertising. NowCode enables consumers to interact with advertisements, promotions or sweepstakes of interest by dialing "#NOW" (#-6-6-9) on their cellular phones and receiving the requested information via e-mail. NowMarketing has signed an agreement with The NBC Agency, NBC's in-house advertising agency, to implement NowCode as the enabling technology behind NBC's upcoming sweepstakes for the 2002 Winter Olympics. Starting mid-December, The NBC Agency will promote the NowCode-enabled sweepstakes to consumers -- including the "#NOW" call to action -- in print, television and radio advertisements, and via a variety of grassroots marketing initiatives. -- Adam Bernard
