Say goodbye to all of ABC’s new dramas. The demise of
Dinotopia this week and
MDs last week have spelled doom for the four dramas, which also included
Push, Nevada and
That Was
Then.
Dinotopia, originally a miniseries last season, had been converted into a series this year with a scheduled 13 shows to air. But low ratings caused ABC to cut that to six episodes and
the last show will air Dec. 26. It had run in the 8 p.m. Thursday time slot, which also features two of TV’s top-rated shows,
Friends and
Survivor: Thailand. They will be replaced by
college football Jan. 2, movies following and then eventually reality shows.
