Corus Entertainment Inc. said Thursday that it had decided to discontinue its Edge TV digital service of rock and alternative music videos later this summer. It had been in operation for two years.
"The challenges of obtaining sufficient cable and satellite carriage for Edge TV remain a significant obstacle to the long-term success of the service," said Paul Robertson, president of Corus
Television and Nelvana. Robertson said the company had to look at what services have a reasonable chance of success in the market.
