Land Rover To Appear on Outdoor Life Channel

The first Land Rover G4 Challenge will be shown in a two one-hour programs on the Outdoor Life Network on Aug. 24 and 31. The event tests men and women from 16 countries in a four-wheel driving competition across three continents. The results have been edited in two one-hour documentary-style television shows. Filming of the G4 Challenge took place in the United States, South Africa and Australia over five weeks. The programming will feature how the competitors fared as they were tested physically and mentally throughout extreme climates and living conditions. The grand prize is a $71,200 Range Rover. "The Land Rover G4 Challenge is the culmination of two years of planning and the efforts of a 120-person team that supported the program as it moved around the world," said Sally Eastwood, vice president of marketing at Land Rover North America.
