Digital Video Media Group Gets Xtreme

CMP Media's Digital Video Media Group has announced the debut of Xtreme Video Magazine. The new title, scheduled to arrive in October, is designed for "professionals and thrill-seekers with an avid desire to shoot video and photos of their adventures," according to a company press release. Potential editorial content includes photo essays, information on action-sports gear and behind-the-scenes looks at the best ways to chronicle skateboarding, surfing and deep-sea exploration. "Xtreme Video will be reaching professionals shooting for ESPN and Eco-Challenge, as well as the Gen X and Y crowd with a passion for action sports and high-tech gear," said Scott Gentry, group director of CMP Media Digital Video Media Group, in the press release. "There is a huge market for high-tech photography and video gear used in capturing life at the edge."
