  • December 30, 2002
Storm Stories, a new program on The Weather Channel, will debut Jan. 6. It’s the channel’s first long-form strip programming and will have two back-to-back episodes at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday. Storm Stories features the experiences of survivors and rescuers who have battled heavy weather events. ”We created Storm Stories because our viewers have been asking for a program like this. Storm Stories combines the natural drama of everyday people thrown into terrifying weather situations with real-life lessons on preparing for and dealing with severe weather,” said Bill Burke, president of The Weather Channel Co.
