Outdoor Life Network will unveil its original adventure series, Global Extremes: Mount Everest – 4Runners of Adventure, at 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6. The first four episodes will include the Global Extremes Selection Camps in Moab, Utah, and the Elk Mountains in Colorado. These episodes will document the adventures of 50 men and women as they contend in separate outdoor events, including back-country traversing, rock climbing, desert racing, mountain biking and ice climbing in the hopes of being selected as one of the 12 athletes that will go on the international expeditions next month. At the end of the April episodes, five participants will be selected for the summit team in this new five-month series, which will air on OLN. The event culminates with the first live telecast in the United States of an attempt to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
