Online Listening Up 82%

The index of Total Time Spent Listening (TTSL) to online radio stations measured by Arbitron’s MeasureCast Ratings grew 82% in 2002. MUSICMATCH Artist Match was ranked the number one web channel with 191,713 hours of TTSL or Aggregate Tuning Hours (ATH), the sum total of hours tuned by listeners to a given station or network. Virgin Radio was ranked number two with 162,184 hours of TTSL. Internet-only web channel, RADIOIO, was ranked number three with 145,184 TTSL. MusicMatch ranked at the top of the webcast network ratings with 841,205 hours of TTSL. Clear Channel Worldwide was ranked number two with 739,153 hours of TTSL.
