Independent Film Channel Signs VOD Deal

International Film Channel and TVN Entertainment Corp. signed an agreement that will have TVN distribute, encode and provide asset management of up to 18 hours of video-on-demand/subscription-video-on-demand programming per month on IFC. Content from IFC include Y Tu Mama Tambein, Happy Accidents, Business of Strangers, The King is Alive, Our Song and the original series Dinner for Five with additional footage for VOD. The agreement will also cover IFC's recently announced Uncensored on Demand SVOD service that features unique content that isn't repurposed content from IFC. TVN distributes more than 1,200 hours of VOD programming from more than 70 content providers.
