Budget Living has teamed with Aspen/Snowmass in a marketing program slated for late 2003. The program, dubbed "The Flip Side," is designed to highlight what a company press release calls "the more
affordable, hipper side" of the posh ski resort. It calls for an advertorial section in the magazine's December 2003/January 2004 issue, Internet ads and e-mail promotion of a discount ski weekend.
Companies who buy a full-page ad in the advertorial section will receive product placement within the section, signage during the ski weekend and two event tickets. Sponsorship opportunities include
an after-ski party as well as the Budget Living Ski Race. Total program cost, according to the press release, is $34,000; the program deadline is October 15.
