Top-ranked female tennis player Serena Williams will make a guest appearance on Showtime's Street Time. Williams will play a reformed gang member on parole. Street Time is a series that takes a raw and realistic look at the lives of ex-cons and the parole officers that are supposed to keep them in line. The series stars Rob Morrow, Scott Cohen, Erick Alexander and Terrence Dashon Howard. While Street Time is to open its second season on Aug. 6, the episode with Williams will not air until Oct. 1. "We specifically created this character with Serena Williams in mind. Anyone that has seen Serena perform on the tennis court understands her commitment to being the best. We are confident that she will bring that same type of energy and devotion to Street Time," said co-executive producer Richard Stratton.
