In what's being reported as an industry first, the formerly bankrupt sister newspapers the
Philadelphia Inquirer and the
Philadelphia Daily will not only launch Android apps
later this year, but sell tablets at less than half price to consumers with the apps pre-installed.
The bundling includes content from the papers' Philly.com and comes with one- to
two-year subscriptions to the digital content.
