BusinessWeek is planning a redesign. Slated for September 2003.
BusinessWeek editors plan to build on the magazine's current format to "further enrich the reading experience of its
weekly audience of more than 5 million readers worldwide." The magazine last redesigned in 1994, enlarged its logo in 2001, and recently revamped its Investor section in November 2002. "We are
thrilled to take our readers to the next step with an even bolder and more user-friendly design, said Stephen B. Shepard, Editor-in-Chief of
BusinessWeek. "It seems a logical and natural
evolution of the magazine. We're confident our readers will be as excited about the innovative and compelling redesign as we are." For the project
BusinessWeek has tapped New York-based
FaheyOConnor Design. Maryjane Fahey and David O'Connor have collaborated with
BusinessWeek in the past on various projects.
