Comcast officials announced today three new Hispanic channels to its programming line-up. Available on digital cable, HTV Musica will be on channel 610, TVE Internacional on channel 607 and Utilisima
on channel 609. HTV Musica features the most requested videos by Latin artists with a mix of salsa, merengue, cumbia, pop and rock, plus exclusive interviews from stars like Shakira, Mana, Paulina
Rubio, Juanes, and Enrique Igesias. TVE Internacional is the home of Spanish language films, international news, children's programming, comedies, telenovelas, variety shows, cultural programs,
documentaries and interview programs. TVE is rated among the top 10 cable channels in Latin America and Mexico. Utilisima, is a women's network with original, unique programming that provides
information viewers can use on child care, health, cooking, arts and crafts, beauty, fashion, and home decorating. "We recognize that the Spanish-speaking market is growing faster than any other group
and we are committed to providing this segment of our audience with the programming they want. This is the first step, and in the coming weeks, we'll be expanding our Hispanic options to offer an even
wider range of programming for this important audience," said Ann Montgomery, regional SVP for Comcast. Customers seeking Spanish-language programming will now have a total of nine channels to choose
from on Comcast's Digital Cable line-up. Comcast currently offers Spanish programming packages starting at $19.99 or a-la-carte channels for $5.99
