Freshly banished from Wal-Mart - and not appearing especially upset about it -
Maxim has announced a shuffle of its editorial deck. Greg Williams, previously editor of the semi-annual
MaximFashion magazine and the one-shot
MaximGoes to the Movies issue (set to debut on newsstands mid-May), assumes the post of editor, the top slot beneath
editor-in-chief Keith Blanchard. Blanchard will continue to oversee the mag, and has been charged with migrating the
Maxim brand into TV, movies and other media. The magazine also promoted
James Heidenry and Charles Coxe to the rank of executive editor. Heidenry has been with
Maxim in a variety of roles since its launch, while Coxe was executive editor of
Maxim Goes to the
Movies and a member of the
Stuff launch team.
