Former ESPN Sportscenter host Keith Olbermann has a new gig. He's host of the primetime telecast Countdown with Keith Olberman on MSNBC. It's Olbermann's second turn at MSNBC. He had worked on two primetime news programs on MSNBC following his time with NBC in the late 1990s. From 1992 to 1997, he was a co-host of Sportscenter. Since 2002, he has given twice-daily commentary on ABC Radio, which he will continue to do. "Keith is a distinguished television journalist with terrific anchor credentials. As events continue to unfold in the war with Iraq, Keith is the ideal voice to provide context and insight on what's happening overseas and at home. We're delighted to welcome him back to MSNBC's primetime lineup," said Erik Sorenson, president of MSNBC.
