AOL, Best Buy Form Alliance

AOL has signed a deal with Best Buy that will give the struggling Internet giant and its new broadband offering a presence in more than 500 of the retailer's stores in the U.S. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but company officials said that special displays in Best Buy will provide information about AOL, and store employees will be trained to help customers sign up for the online services. Additionally, BestBuy.com's selection of consumer electronics, personal computers, appliances and other products will have a presence in commerce areas across AOL, including the computing, electronics and entertainment areas of Shop@AOL.
