The American Association of Health Plans launched an ad campaign about the crisis of the uninsured. The campaign will run in movie theatres across the United States. The campaign informs moviegoers
that by the time a two-hour film ends, 465 more Americans will lose their health insurance. “The uninsured crisis is one of the most urgent health care and social problems in our nation. But for too
long, many politicians have preferred rhetoric over action. We are recommending specific proposals for change and encouraging the public to support real action on the uninsured,” said AAHP
President/CO Karen Ignagni.
