Warren Buffett Buys Newspaper Company

Warren Buffett may have “expressed reservations about the newspaper industry,” writes Tanzine Vega -- but that hasn’t stopped his company, the Omaha, Neb-based Berkshire Hathaway, from buying a local newspaper business, the Omaha World-Herald Company, which publishes seven daily papers, including The World-Herald.

Buffet left the board of the Washington Post Company almost a year ago, but Berkshire Hathaway is still the largest shareholder in The Washington Post.
