The Future Network plc announced yesterday that Future Network USA's revenues increased 24 percent, to $75.5 million, in 2003. The company, which counts PC Gamer, Official Xbox Magazine and Guitar
World among its US titles, saw adjusted operating profit surge 73 percent, to $12.3 million; circulation revenue grow 30 percent, while ad revenue jumped 19 percent.
"Our US team has done a
remarkable job in achieving such strong growth in circulation, revenues and profits," said Future Network plc chief executive Greg Ingham in a press release. "Their success has made a significant
contribution to the group's overall 2003 performance. It also underpinned our decision to invest in acquiring the sector-leading guitar magazines in New York in the autumn and has given us confidence
in our launch plans for Mobile PC."
