Spanish Internet media giant Terra Lycos SA yesterday cut more than 20% of its staff in in several of the company's U.S. offices, including Waltham, Massachusetts, New York, Miami, San Francisco and
Mountain View, California. According a company spokeswoman, the company has been grappling with the sharp slump in advertising spending, and cut 147 jobs in the U.S. out of a staff of 649 people.
