Cy Young Award winner Barry Zito and all-stars Jimmy Rollins and Shawn Green will appear in a nationwide PSA for the disadvantaged children program sponsored by the Volunteers of America. The players’
participation is part of a long-term partnership called “Share with a Child” between the Major League Baseball Players Trust for Children and Volunteers for America. Since July, players have been
working with disadvantaged children in communities nationwide. The PSA asks Americans to get involved by supporting programs and services that help children. The PSA was recorded at a Volunteers of
America program near Los Angeles.
