Starbucks Opens Juice Store

This week Starbucks opened its first retail store, Evolution Fresh, that has nothing to do with coffee and everything to do with juice and veggies. The grand opening comes four months after Starbucks bought the Evolution Fresh brand, and two days before the company's annual meeting, where CEO Howard Schultz will  point to Evolution Fresh as the direction of brand extension: the $50 billion health and wellness category dominated by premium juices and vegan and vegetarian food. 

The company would also like to take on Kraft and PepsiCo in the near-$1 trillion world of consumer packaged goods.
