Turner, CBS, Make $60M In March Madness Digital Ad Revenue

Ad sales for Web streaming of NCAA tournament games this year equaled around $60 million for and Turner, according to sources cited by Jason Del Rey.

That figure -- nearly double that of sales for the 2009 games -- "is a sign of progress," though it fails to "convince many that a long-awaited reallocation of TV dollars to digital has arrived," writes Del Rey.
