MPG, Havas' media arm, has promoted three employees in its Chicago office. Karen Rushing has been elevated to vice president/media director, while Jennifer Devens becomes vice president/account
director and Carrie Barley becomes account director. Since arriving at MPG in May 2002, Rushing has worked on a host of accounts and helped fuel the firm's new-business efforts. Before her stint at
MPG, she was a communications director at Brand Expression and a senior vice president/group media director at J. Walter Thompson. Devens, who will report to Rushing, started her career in the media
department of Tatham RSCG (now Euro RSCG Tatham Partners). Barley boasts nine years of media experience, including stays at McCann Erickson and Young & Rubicam in Detroit.
