Dunkin' Making 'Men In Black' Donuts

Dunkin' Donuts is promoting menu items with tie-ins to “Men In Black 3,” a Sony Pictures movie set to open later this month. A Dunkin’ TV ad will use some of the movie’s themes and images. Last year, Dunkin’ had a similar promotion using the “Captain America” movie. Dunkin’s sister chain, Baskin-Robbins, is also using “Men In Black 3” to market some new items on its ice cream menu.

Dunkin' will have an  “Undercover Black Cocoa Donut," a star-shaped yeast donut filled with brownie batter butter creme and topped with chocolate icing and star sprinkles, and a Chocolate Lunarmax Donut, a chocolate cake donut with chocolate and star sprinkles.

Separately, Baskin-Robbins plans to expand its presence in the UK, which would nearly double its number of locations there with 80 new free-standing restaurants over the next three years.
