Arial Software has announced plans to give away a version of its e-mail software. Campaign Enterprise Free, including the same message-personalization features as the just-released Campaign Enterprise
Version 8 e-mail software, is available on the company's web site. Other features include web-based remote management capabilities, and anti-spam check. "This is our way of promoting a permission
e-mail marketing philosophy," said Arial Software president and chief executive officer Mike Adams in a press release. "We want to put tools in the hands of individuals who will conduct ethical
permission-marketing campaigns to make their businesses and organizations grow." He adds that groups that might benefit from the free software package include small businesses, nonprofit organizations
and local retailers.
