The volatility of media accounts has been much more stable through the first nine months of 2003 versus the same period in 2002, according to the latest installment of the MAP Barometer from Media
Analysis Plus. The September barometer found only $318 million in media billings switched shops in September, down from $890 million in September 2002. September was also much more stable than
August, which saw $599 million shift agencies. Through the first nine months of 2003, $4.7 billion in media billings have changed agencies, down from $7.6 million during the same period in 2002.
