MyWeather LLC, provider of online personalized weather services to websites, has announced major enhancements to Premium Weather, the company's paid subscription service. Newly released features
include live high resolution weather radar, weather satellite, temperature and dew point imagery, the ability to monitor real-time all National Weather Service severe weather alerts and warnings
around the country, new 48 hour forecast severe weather, tornado, and thunderstorm outlooks, and enhanced presentation of side-by-side current weather conditions for multiple personal locations.
MyWeather's "Personal Storm Sentinel" also offers subscribers the ability to track severe storms right to their doorstep, and "FutureCast" displays personalized animated graphic forecasts of future
weather down to the street level. Both are proprietary, integral parts of the Premium Weather service. A recent Online Publishers Association's (OPA) report announced that the online paid content
industry generated $748 million in the first half of 2003, an increase of 23% over the same period last year. The OPA estimates at least a 20% growth for the paid content market in 2003.
