DoubleClick launched DARTmail 4.0, an upgraded version of its email platform. The new version of the product is designed to better address the demands of marketers and publishers, and includes
advanced reporting capabilities as well as subscription management tools for customers. In a DoubleClick press release, DARTmail 4.0 users touted the enhanced features. "The new custom report
capabilities will allow us to tailor reports for each of our individual customers to further bolster the service we provide to them," said Acceleration eMarketing executive vice president Eri Golembo.
Added DM2's Joe Slepski: "The list reporting capability provides crucial metrics on data such as list subscription, churn and mailing history. These additional reports give us far greater insight into
our subscriber base." DARTmail is part of DoubleClick's Marketer Solutions Division, which together with the company's UnityMail email software platform provides email solutions to more than 300
marketers and publishers. Clients include Procter and Gamble, Sony Style and Primedia.
