New Associate Publisher at New York

Denise Fierro Collins, formerly associate publisher for Marie Claire, has been hired as associate publisher for New York magazine. Collins, who will begin her third stint at New York, has also worked at Modern Bride and Mademoiselle.

Leslie Farrand, formerly director of fashion and beauty advertising for New York, has been promoted to the position of advertising manager.

Risa Aronson, New York's former director of advertising, left the magazine last week to become advertising director at Bon Appetit.
