CheckM8 To Power Rich Media On ABC

CheckM8, the provider of rich media software and technologies, has signed an agreement with ABC National Television Sales online properties to empower the top 10 ABC Owned TV stations with CheckM8's rich media system. The CheckM8 system will allow ABC National TV Sales to internally design, produce, manage and track a wide array of ad formats for their local and national advertisers. Local and regional advertisers in particular have been slower to embrace rich media because of the higher production costs and complexity associated with rich media. ABC National TV Sales has worked with CheckM8 to customize and produce an initial offering of 5 ad formats on their sites, including advanced over-the-page combination units; streaming video commercials; in-page expandable units; full-page or sectional branding watermarks; and contextually based units.
