Dow Jones & Company received two awards yesterday at BtoB's Media Business Innovation Award Luncheon, which honors the most innovative business publishing executives of the year.

Crovitz, president of Dow Jones Electronic Publishing and senior vice president of Dow Jones & Company, was recognized as a Top New Media Executive for his focus on running a more efficient and
profitable operation of Dow Jones Electronic Publishing. Crovitz has helped boost the operating income of the electronic publishing unit to $67.9 million in 2003 from $40.3 million in 2000.
Michael Sheehan, vp-circulation The Wall Street Journal was awarded Production Top Innovator for his supervision of a four-year $225 million project to add color-capacity to the Journal and
introduction of a new "Personal Journal" section. The goal of these enhancements was to diversify the Journal's advertising base and attract more luxury goods advertisers.
