Iaffaldano Named EVP, General Manager of TWC Media Solutions

Paul Iaffaldano will become Executive Vice President and General Manager, The Weather Channel said.

The appointment follows the resignation of Lyn Andrews, who had guided the all-weather company's Media Solutions group over the past two years. Iaffaldano will oversee and have leadership responsibility for all advertising sales functions of The Weather Channel and weather.com. The Weather Channel has established advertising sales offices in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, San Francisco, Dallas and Los Angeles. In this position, he will report directly to Debora Wilson, President, The Weather Channel Inc.

Most recently, Iaffaldano was senior vice president of network sales and advertising product development, reporting directly to Andrews. Prior to that, Iaffaldano served as chief revenue officer of The Weather Channel Interactive, where he oversaw revenue development for weather.com and other interactive products, including advertising sales, database marketing, e-commerce and content partnerships businesses. During his six years in this position, TWC Interactive achieved revenue growth that outpaced the online advertising industry every year. He has more than 20 years of advertising.
