The International Herald Tribune (IHT) introduced daily color news photography in its worldwide editions for the first time in the 117-year-old history of the Paris-based, global newspaper. In
addition, the IHT named six new columnists who will write on politics, business and culture on a given day, from Monday through Saturday. The page one color and new columns are the latest in a series
of enhancements at the International Herald Tribune, made possible by increased investment in the newspaper's systems infrastructure and news resources in 2004.
