Clarification: Posterscope Not Backing ADstruc Integration With Mediaocean

In response to a story in the May 21 edition of MediaDailyNews ("Out-Of-Home Trading Platform Integrates With Mediaocean, Posterscope Backs Move") reporting that Aegis’ Posterscope unit is backing a move to integrate out-of-home media trading platform ADstruc with agency media buying processing system Mediaocean, Posterscope is still evaluating whether it will even utilize ADstruc.
 
“We support the concept and think the relationship with Mediaocean is a good one and we are testing,” said Posterscope COO Ray Rotolo, who was quoted in a press release endorsing the deal.
 
“As of this date, Posterscope and ADstruc have not formally entered into an agreement. Posterscope has been diligently testing the platform over the last several weeks to evaluate the benefit from the use of ADstruc's technology in enhancing their planning and buying capabilities. As a client of Mediaocean, Posterscope expressed interest in ADstruc's integration, as they anticipate approved efficiencies across their contract and billing processes,” added ADstruct CEO John Laramie.
