Coca-Cola will be sponsoring 12 behind-the-scenes movie vignettes called "Coca-Cola on the Set" tied to ABC Family's original movies beginning later this month. The sponsorship follows a promotion
Coke did with ABC Family for the past Halloween. ABC Family ran an original movie produced for the network called "The Hollow" that aired during the network's branded "13 Nights of Halloween."
The
first vignette will air during the premiere of the original ABC Family movie "Searching For David's Heart" on Nov. 21, followed by the original movie "Snow," which will be part of the branded holiday
promotion "25 Days of Christmas," on Dec. 12.
The vignettes feature the cast talking about their experience on the set, while showcasing behind-the-scenes moments during the filming.
"Advertisers are looking for continuity and ownership of a franchise, and becoming a part of ABC Family's original movies is a perfect way to do that," said Marlene Zakovich, an ABC Family
spokeswoman.
