Last year the
Washington Post considered using an automatic writing service to cover the high school sports beat, which according to an editor's estimate would need about 300 reporters to
attend all the games in the area -- but the powers-that-be decided against it, though they didn't rule out taking the step in the future, according to Andrew Beaujon.
