EU Set To Rule On Google Antitrust Probe

The European Union antitrust regulator is expected to announce its final decision on whether Google's latest offer was enough to settle a three-year-old antitrust case, according to the EU competition commissioner. The EU competition commissioner Joaquín Almunia is reportedly set to conclude whether the search engine firm's officially binding offer to list more rivals' services was sufficient to avoid formal accusations and probable fines.
