Facebook’s mobile-first strategy appears to be taking hold in Europe and parts of the Middle East, according to a partner report obtained by TechCrunch. Indeed, all listed countries are seeing
over 50% of total users accessing Facebook from their mobile devices. Chris Cox, Facebook’s Product VP, is quoted in the report as saying: “We’re not ever going to be a media
company … There’s not a great history of mediums becoming good at creating content.”
