Artists, Labels Fight Over Digital Income

UK artists, managers and performers have called for streaming revenue to be split 50/50 between labels and artists. The demand was made in a joint submission to the European Commission’s consultation on copyright, via the newly formed coalition AMP. Some have suggested this is a contractual dispute, not an issue for the EC.
