EU Rules Against Google In Privacy Case

EU’s top court ruled this week that Web companies (i.e. Google) can be forced to remove what it considers to be irrelevant or excessive personal information from search engine results. “The case highlighted the struggle in cyberspace between free speech advocates and supporters of privacy rights who say people should have the ‘right to be forgotten,’” Reuters reports.
