In a new study, "Alcoholism: Clinical and Experimental Research," scientists investigated whether exposure to brand-specific alcohol advertising on 20 television shows popular among young
people was associated with brand-specific consumption among underage drinkers. It seems it is: underage drinkers are three times more likely to drink alcohol brands that advertise on TV
shows they watch, compared to other alcohol brands.
