Fast Food Protest For $15 Hits Nation, Hundreds Arrested

On Thursday, a nationwide protest resulted in hundreds of arrests. The protests were coordinated by Fight for $15, a union-backed minimum wage and union-recognition campaign. The protests are an escalation nationwide of a civil disobedience protests organized recently in major markets like New York and Chicago. They are aimed at shaming big fast-food companies like McDonald's over low pay and irregular hours.
