Microsoft may acquire Minecraft, a hugely popular game that lets you create your own virtual worlds. That's a problem for a lot of people, including the Minecraft's founder Markus
Persson. Why? Right now you can play it on Macs, iPads, iPhones, and the Sony PlayStation 3 game console, but not Microsoft devices. If Microsoft acquires the game, will it nix updates on
non-Microsoft devices? If fans are alienated they may switch to competitors like the free and open source Minetest.
