Fairchild Publications Inc. has named
MARY MURCKO publisher of its newly acquired Elegant Bride magazine, effective immediately. Murcko was most recently associate publisher of
Fairchild's W and W Jewelry. Before joining W in October 2001, Murcko spent five years in Bangkok as publisher and general manager for Hachette Filpacchi Post Company, where she oversaw the Thai
editions of Elle, Elle Decor, Cleo, and BMW magazine. Murcko also worked as beauty market manager for Self and senior advertising sales representative for New York magazine.
