STEVEN M. BORNSTEIN, president of Walt Disney's ABC Television unit, has resigned unexpectedly after less than a year on the job on Tuesday. "There are other interests I wish to pursue and now
is an appropriate time to do this," he said in a statement. Walt Disney Co., which owns ABC, said it will not replace Bornstein and may reorganize the business unit that also includes 10 broadcast
stations and the cable networks ESPN and ABC Family.
